Bring me two pina coladas, one for each hand…
What could be better than a beach, some sunshine, and a boozy drink? Maybe I can recreate that in my backyard this weekend, sans beach. And this cocktail is a lighter version of a pina colada that can be made boozy or sobriety-friendly.
The Merrythought calls this a Pina Colada Spritzer. It’s coconut milk, pineapple juice, ice, and sparking grape fruit juice. To make it boozy, you could swap out the sparkling juice for champagne, or you could add a bit of white rum.
This seems like a lighter alternative to the traditional creamy pina colada.
The lemon print on this H&M swimsuit is whimsical and lovely. It really is a nice alternative to the simple black swimsuit. I also love the tie-detail on the straps.
H&M has a lot of cute swimwear, both one-piece and bikini. For one-pieces, I love the ruffle-details on this black and white suit and the sleek, sporty feel of this dusty rose suit. Into bikinis? This balconette bikini top with a twist-front is super cute. And I just love the flounce detail on this bikini.

Where are we on cute prints like that lemon one, but on a skirt or blouse? I would love to wear that print as a top or flowy skirt but I don’t know how to make it work. There’s something about a swimsuit that has room for lightness and fun but ‘regular’ life…??? Maybe a weekend wardrobe opportunity? Thoughts?
Pairing a fun print like this with white denim or navy linen pants would be fun. There was also an H&M< caftan earlier this season that had lemons on it. I think it just depends on your tolerance for print.
