The Find: $50 Shoes at Ann Taylor

May 27, 2020

Hey, remember shoes?  No, not slippers.  Shoes.  The ones with hard soles made for walking outside.  You’d wear comfortable ones to work, and dressier ones to court, and sandals on the weekends.  Yeah, those.

Well, today, all shoes at Ann Taylor are $50.  Shoes that usually run $110+, all discounted to $50.  And as someone who owns a few pairs of Ann Taylor shoes, I cannot tell you how well-but their shoes are.

These double-strap Liv sandals come in a few colors and would be great for days when you just need to dress up a little bit.  These flat, gold sandals have a more casual vibe.  And if your office is reopening this summer, let me recommend these gorgeous, pale grey leather pumps and the very dramatic, subtly sexy Azra pumps.

Oh, and if your needs run longer term, it might be a good time to snag a smokin’ deal on their basic work shoes — like the kitten heel Reese pumps or classic Eryn pumps.  They’re simple, chic, and comfortable.

These sandals are beautiful and dangerously priced! I ordered a pair in black and a pair in blush!

    LOVE those sandals.

I tried three different pairs that I really like, but none of them are on sale, so must not extend to all shoes.

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
