WFH Items: An Easy T-Shirt Dress

Apr 7, 2020

It’s still chilly in Washington, but I know this isn’t the case everywhere.  Were it not still sweater weather, these affordable t-shirt dresses would be my first choice.

This Madewell V-Neck Dress (also in plus-size) is a good choice for relaxed days.  It’s soft, comfortable, and perfect with a pair of simple sandals and some easy jewelry.  If you prefer a crewneck, I also found this stylish and affordable H&M t-shirt dress.

Looking for a maxi dress?  Target has a cute one in several colors, and this striped dress from LOFT has a great look to it.

It comes in navy and white striped version – how many striped dresses are too many?!?

FWIW, I have this in three colors. Super affordable (>$20) and holds up well after a year of wearing/washing.

If you’re leaving the house do you belt these? I’m afraid I’d look like I was wearing a sack. I suppose it all cones down to body shape.

I suppose you could, but I don’t. I’m not exactly proportional (hello, pear shape), but I’ve never found the dresses look like a sack. I just have to search harder for the right size.

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
