Picks from the Nordstrom Rack Sale

Mar 24, 2020

Nordstrom Rack is having a 20% off everything sale.  No exclusions, even fine jewelry, designer sunglasses, beauty, etc. are included.  Even their seasonal clearance section is included.  Here are some of my best picks.

Jeffrey Campbell Rain Boots ($28)

Absolutely amazing.  I bought these for chilly, wet PNW weather, and they’re perfect.  Minimal, stylish, and comfortable.  With a wet spring on the horizon, and outdoor walks being my only activity, these are a must.

Elie Tahari Darcy Blazer ($136, also in navy)

Persaman New York Allondra Satchel ($78)

BLVD Balloon Sleeve Dress ($25)

Bony Levy 16″ 14k Gold Chain ($76)

T Tahari Plus Button Front Blouse ($22)

Susina Maxi Dress ($29, also in petite)

Lots of Notebooks and Planners, I like the simplicity of this Ted Baker ($11)

Nordstrom has really good sheets.  I have them on every bed in my house.   You have to search them by size, but every set is under-$50.

What is the appropriate occasion for the balloon sleeve dress? Gorgeous, but I can’t figure out when I’d wear it! Thanks!

Rainboot links to Bony Levy necklace for now! Great picks. Thanks for sharing!

  3. Nancy Wachs says:

I’m shocked your hairstylist was open as long as she was, given the amount of time Washington state has been dealing with Covid19. Here in Kentucky they’ve been shut down for over a week.
Hang in there, stay home all, and protect your mental health. Count your blessings.

Hi there! Belle (or anyone), can you comment on how the rainboots fit, like if they run large or small? Many thanks, and stay healthy!

The Beauty Edit: An Under-Eye Concealer That Actually Works

My dark under eye circles have been the bane of my existence since I was 12. Is the cause lack of sleep? Dehydration? Sinus issues? Stress? Who the hell knows. But there they are, every day, telling the world that I am an exhausted working Mom.

Saw It On Social: The Battle of the Spendy Swimsuits

Sloane loves the pool. She jumps from the deck into the water with a crash, never considering her own safety, only to emerge on the surface, shouting “Again!” The pool is my daughter’s happy place. But no place where I need to wear a swimsuit in public is a happy one for me.

The Mondays: July 22, 2024

The Crowdstrike/Microsoft Meltdown forced me to take a few days off this weekend. No laptop. No billable hours. So we packed Sloane up for a visit to a local llama farm, stopped by the pool, went for coffee, etc. Few things are as funny as watching a 23-month old feed carrots to a ravenous rescue […]
