Dress Week: A Subtly Feminine Work Dress

Dec 2, 2019

With the December celebrations officially upon us, now seems like a good time to share some of the best dresses for sale on the web.  Starting with a dress that’s perfect for work in any season, because it won’t be winter forever.

Brooks Brother’s Bow-Neck Twill Sheath Dress is the perfect mix of pretty and professional.  I love the sweet little bow on the neckline.  It’s not too big, not too small.  It’s a Goldilocks bow.

The dress runs sizes 0-14.  It comes in three shades, this subtle grey, a neutral navy, and a stunningly gorgeous marigold.  (Seriously, if you’re good on neutrals, jump on that sunny shade.)

As for how to wear it, if you love a crewneck cardigan, this is a great way to pair it.  I also like it with this long, crewneck J.Crew jacket, a pair of micro-fishnets, and an ankle boot.

That bow really does make all the difference. I like that it’s sleeveless, too.

Another lovely dress for my “Things I Want to Sew” pinterest board! 🙂
