The Black Friday Sales Begin

Nov 27, 2019

With so many sales this week, I decided to stick to my favorite retailers instead of partaking in the Black Friday onslaught.  Many stores have already started their sales, bust some will start in the coming days.  Here are the best picks from the sales that I would actually pause my holiday too visit.  Happy Shopping!

Ann Taylor // 50% off everything with code BLACKFRIDAY // Valid 11/25-12/4.

My best picks. A Pretty Wine-Colored Dress  // A Gorgeous Cashmere Sweater // These Pearl-Pave Tulip Drops

Boden // 30% off plus free shipping & returns over $49 with code H7N3 //Valid 11/25-12/3.

My best picks. A Silk Collarless Blouse // A Super Chic Work-Dress // The Cutest Ankle Boots, Ever

COS // 25% off wardrobe staples // Valid 11/29-12/3.

They haven’t defined “wardrobe staples” yet. However, COS is known for modern, simple styles that look high end.

& Other Stories // 20% off everything with code NOIR20 // Valid 11/28-12/1.

My best picks. A Square-Neck Cocktail Dress // A Textured Tunic Sweater // Eyelet Lace Bodysuit

J.CREW // 40% off with code WHYWAIT // Discount improves as the week progresses.

My best picks. A Cashmere Fair Isle Sweater // A Jeweled Sweater Dress // A Collarless Sweater Blazer

LOFT // 40% off sitewide code BESTWEEK // Valid 11/28-11/30.

My best picks. A Green Funnel Neck Coat // A Comfortable Swing Dress // This Modern Earring Set

Plus-size picks. An Embellished Sweater // A Tie Cuff Sweater Dress

Missoma // 25% off of everything with code BF25 // Valid thru 11/30.

This is my favorite new jewelry line.  Everything is unique and gorgeous.   The jewelry is high-quality and far from fast fashion.  My favorites right now are these Amazonite earrings and this cable stack ring.  They also make earring sets for people with multiple piercings; this one is my favorite.

Shopbop // Up to 25% off full-price items and up to 75% off sale items with code MORE19 // Valid 11/26-12/3.

My best picks. These Delphinus Drop Earrings // Norma Kamali Shirred Dress // A Sculptural V-Wrap Sweater

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here.  (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]
