When I was an intern, I bought myself a pair of Linea Paolo heels at the Nordstrom half-yearly sale. They were so comfortable that I could give Capitol tours in high heels. I could walk home from work and save money on Metro. I could even stand in them at a cheap-wine fundraiser for hours. Then, one day, I stepped onto a cobblestone street and snapped the heel in two.
I tried replacing, but the brand had disappeared. It was no longer carried at Nordstrom. It had basically fallen off the map until two years ago, when I saw pairs popping up at a few retailers. So I snapped up a pair from Amazon, and I’m so glad I did.
Amazon has a great selection of Linea Paolo pieces, as does Nordstrom. These Bellini low-heels are so great. They look awesome with jeans or trousers and they are very comfortable after just one or two wears. They come in seven colors (shocking that I chose the leopard).
I also like the look of these simple Linea Paolo loafers and the cool details on these black booties. They make a great shoe in the sub-$150 price point. If you haven’t tried the brand before, give them a look.

Oh my goodness, I had a pair of Linea Paolo black heels when I was in DC and loved them to pieces. So much so that they sadly go worn to death. I never replaced because I couldn’t find them again. I will go looking now and see what I can find!
How is sizing on these? Should I go up a half size in the pointy flat?
I’m an 8.5, I bought an 8.5. But in a higher heel, I sometimes go 9.
I have a pair of flats and a pair of hella from this brand. I generally wear a 10 in pointy flats and either a 9.5 or 10 in heels, and I find the size 10 comfortable for both.
*hella = heels. I honestly don’t know where autocorrect gets these things… Is it 2001?
So I am dying to start wearing loafers, mainly because they look so comfy, but I have absolutely no idea how to wear them. Can they be worn with skirts or dresses? Only jeans and pants? If so, what cuts and what lengths?
I’m totally loafer-clueless. Please send help!
As long as the loafer has some structure, you can absolutely wear them with skirts and dresses. It’s kind of a masculine/feminine look, so I’d keep the outfits simple (as opposed to frilly or embellished), and you’ll look great.
I may be daft – but what’s a structured loafer vs an unstructured loafer?

Nordstrom currently carries this brand!
I first stumbled across it earlier this year when I was just browsing and HAD to have these purple pumps (https://shop.nordstrom.com/s/linea-paolo-pia-pump-women/5003068). They are so surprisingly comfortably and pretty…I was hooked immediately. I also have these flats in pale pink (https://shop.nordstrom.com/s/linea-paolo-belinda-flat-women/5172911).
Ooops..I just noticed that you do say Nordstrom carries it. Don’t mind me. I got excited that someone else loves this brand as much as I do lol.
I love this!
Has anyone tried the Peggy midheight version? I can’t tell if the pitch of the heel seems odd? Thanks for the recommendations, I’m excited to check these out!
