The Find: Fuzzy Slippers

Nov 7, 2019

Every time I open my Instagram stories, I see a blogger wearing cross-front fuzzy slippers.  They’re prettier than my beloved moccasins, but just as cozy.  Plus, they have a bit of a Valley of the Dolls slightly vintage vibe that I really enjoy.  I think I need a pair, but I’m not about to overpay for slippers.

These Faux-Fur Slides from LOFT are somehow snuggly and glamorous.  And at under-$35, they are priced just right.  They’d make a great holiday gift, even if it’s a gift for yourself.

I was excited to see they’re even 40% off today, but the reviews all say they shed all over the place. Bummer.

  2. Michelle says:

Cute, but practically speaking, I don’t see how they make sense for the winter. (Or maybe it’s just me whose toes are the coldest part of my body.) I’ll stick to my shearling moccasin slippers…

Whenever I wear fuzzy-lined slippers, my feet get sweaty, no matter how cold it is! I’m hoping the more open top will help banish the foot sweat.

Currently wearing the shearling lined UGG slipper socks that I got for Christmas a couple years ago, and they are the comfiest thing in the world.

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
