Classics Week: An Ivory Turtleneck

Oct 14, 2019

Nothing is better than finding classic pieces at great prices.  This week the morning posts will feature timeless fall/winter styles that cost less than $75.  These are the kind of pieces that will make you wonder if you’re wearing them too frequently.

There is a lot to love about this Textured Turtleneck Sweater from J.Crew Factory.  The waffle pattern is a gentler texture than cable, but a lovely look.  The sweater is cotton, welcome news for those with wool allergies.  And the tunic length is flattering on many figures.

Plus-size?  Try this Land’s End sweater, also in tall.  Petite?  Try this Banana Republic sweater.

This may be the fastest I’ve ever been influenced. Traveling this weekend and this seems like an absolutely perfect staple to bring. Ordered and heading my way. Thanks!

I bought this and am now struggling to style it for work. the waffle weave feels too casual to pair with a wool pencil skirt. help!

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here.  (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]
