The Find: A Sale Section Find

Aug 13, 2019

At the beginning of the summer, I bought a handful of Boden dresses.  But only one gets compliments every time I wear it.

Boden’s Cassia Midi Jersey Dress is so comfortable.  I can wear it to almost any event.  I take long care trips in it.  I wear it to drinks.  I throw it on to run errands.  It is the most comfortable, versatile thing I own.

The material this dress is made from has a good weight to it, and it feels soft against the skin.  And the shape is equal parts breezy and feminine.  This is the kind of dress you could wear in August and September, and put away to wear again next spring.

The blue is $105.  I own the red, which is currently $90.

If the wrap style isn’t your look, Boden makes a similar dress in a button-front option.  It’s dotted, and the same lovely jersey material.

I own this dress as well in the blue, and I get stopped every time I wear it as well! It pairs well with sandals or white sneakers. SUCH a great piece.

I find that jersey tends to fade and pill badly, particularly where my cross-body rubs against it, or under the arms. Does anyone else find this with jersey?

Not with this dress at all. I sometimes get that with others, but I’ve been machine washing this in a bag, and no trouble.

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.
