There is nothing I love more than a pretty, breezy dress. For weekends, for casual Friday, for date night, this is the dress for you. And who doesn’t love polka dots for summer?
This Polka Dot Wrap Dress from Anthropologie is such a pretty addition to any wardrobe. It also comes in petite and plus.
Every time I see this dress, I think about weekend picnics. All I want to do is grab a wicker picnic basket and head out to the park for an al fresco lunch. Add these coral sandals with a low-block heel to spice it up a bit.

I do love that dress. Great on its own with sandals, or with sneakers and a denim jacket. Hmmm. Thinking, thinking…:)
I don’t know…this just gives me the country bumpkin vibe. It is hard for a polka dress to look fresh and the length of the Anthro dress makes it matronly. I do love a polka dot blouse though.
I recently bought a polka dot wrap dress from J.Crew(https://www.jcrew.com/p/womens_category/dressesandjumpsuits/casual/midi-wrap-dress-in-soft-rayon-polka-dots/L7672?color_name=sky-ivory)
I wore it to a baby shower over the weekend (with a pair of espadrilles and a bamboo purse), but I’d also like to work it into my summer business-casual work wardrobe. How would you style it for the office.
Haha, I actually hate polka dots. But I know that’s a personal problem 🙂
I agree, I think it always looks like a little kid pattern
…Or the early years of Princess Diana. However, I do love a small polka dot.
I stay away from the small dots on principle, but there’s something about the even spacing and high contrast of a traditional polka dot that I’ve always found visually jarring. When I was a kid (aka during the polka dot heyday of the late 80s early 90s), I would shut my eyes whenever I saw a polka dotted item and make whatever grownup I was with take me away from it.
oh man, I love polka dots, ha! so I loved this pick. totally get that they’re not for everyone, though! thanks for sharing, Belle
