The Find: The Perfect Crossbody

Apr 4, 2019

Every night, I come home from work, feed the pups, and sit down at my computer to search for blog inspiration.  I look on Pinterest, on social media, in stores, in women’s magazines, and on other blogs. And every now and again, I come across a spectacular piece that just needs to be shared with the world.

Hello, Gorgeous.

Would you believe this BP. crossbody bag from Nordstrom is $39?  No, I would not have believed it either.  I love the soft, buttery taupe color; It’s a wonderful spring neutral.  The equestrian styling, with textured strap and a brushed gold buckle, is fab.  And the size is pure Goldilocks — not too big, not too small.

It’s a great crossbody for weekend brunches and summer travels.  If you want one, snap it up.  Because at this price, this bag will definitely sell out.

LOVE! It looks like a Chloe style crossbody and hopefully large enough to hold a travel book.

  2. Anna says:

Interesting! I’ve been looking at similar styles to use as a camera bag, but didn’t want to spend $250 on the Lo & Sons camera bag. The closest other options were $150. I might try seeing if this will work.

  3. Mandi says:

Love it! Can you recommend a shoe that you might pair with this bag? Preferably something low or flat and good for weekends? Thank you!

The Find: A Striped Tee

Without question, the most worn item in my wardrobe is a black-and-white striped tee. I wear it in winter under sweaters, in spring with white jeans, in summer with black shorts. I’ve been wearing the same one for years (it’s the best). But they don’t make it anymore. So here are some options for replacement.

The Find: Like a McCall’s Pattern

When I was young, my Mother used to bring me along when she would go shopping for fabric. As a result, I spent a lot of time, killing time, flipping through pattern books. So when I spotted this dress, I was instantly transported to the pattern table at a Jo-Ann Fabrics.
