Ann Taylor’s Spring Preview Is Lovely

Apr 3, 2019

Does your work wardrobe need a little refresh?  Ann Taylor released their May pieces a little early for loyal customers.  Check them out, because there is one jacket you will not want to miss.

This Tweed Open-Front Jacket is just everything.  It can be worn in any season, and with almost any color.  They also have one of the chicest white suits that I have ever, ever seen.

I adore this snakeskin-print pleated skirt.  It’s so pretty and flowy, but with a bit of edge.  Also, this mixed-eyelet dress has a Self Portrait vibe to it.  And, even though I am not usually a proponent of jumpsuits, this green flutter-sleeve number is phenomenal.

Happy Spring Shopping!

OMG that jacket is gorgeous. I just need to wait for a sale. I can’t bring myself to buy full priced items at LOFT, Banana, etc.

  2. Jenette says:

What type and color of blouse would you pair with the snake skin pleated skirt? I think I might buy it but I’m having a loss coming up with an outfit idea in my head.

    • Belle says:

Ivory, gray, blush, pine green, navy, pale purple, light blue, black are all good color options. I would choose either a crewneck sweater or a slim-fitting button-up bodysuit.

  3. Allison says:

    That jacket is amazing.

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here.  (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]
