The Find: Now with Inclusive Sizing

Feb 20, 2019

Several years ago, I accidentally posted a link to a plus-size blouse from Lord & Taylor.  The responses in the comments made me realize that I needed to make more of an effort to include fashions for plus-size women.  Now, in 2019, more brands are moving toward inclusive sizing, and I am so glad.

This Halogen V-Neck Top comes in misses, petite, and plus sizes.  It is the perfect thing to wear under suits and blazers or with a cool pair of jeans and a $20 statement earring.  It is a great wardrobe basic to layer on other pieces.

Halogen makes a number of other fabulous items in inclusive sizing.  I love this wrap top (plus) with jeans or trousers.  And the neckline on this stretch sheath dress (plus) is incredibly unique, but still professional.  It’s the perfect day-to-night LBD.

Just a note to say how much I appreciate you including plus-size options. It’s one reason why I’ve kept reading your site for so long!

I completely agree with Eleanor. I appreciate your style and as a plus sized person, your inclusivity is why your blog is the one I check every day.

I try. Sometimes, I forget. But as more brands like J.Crew and LOFT bring in plus-size options, it just makes it a no brainer.

I would LOVE if some blogger, any blogger included wide width shoe options on a regular basis. I noticed that you did this for a cute flat recently and was so pleased; even bloggers who regularly link plus sized clothing almost never make inclusive shoe recommendations. Please consider continuing to post wide and narrow shoe picks!

Thank you! This looks like a reasonably priced perfect basic – I hope they make it in more prints!

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
