The Find: A Stunning Workout Top

Jan 22, 2019

Meet The Find, a new Tuesday post featuring a great item under-$50.  Because who doesn’t love a deal?

Workout clothes can be so boring.  And so expensive.  The Ideology brand produces stylish, feminine workout wear in both straight and both sizes.  The pieces are already on the affordable side, but since they’re at Macy’s, they’re almost always on sale.

This Metallic Lattice Back Top ($25) is a great top to wear over other workout tops or by itself.  The lattice is a cool design, and maybe it’s the 90s kid in me, but I like when sleeves have thumbholes.  I also like these mesh-trimmed leggings for $30.

Oh, dear heavens, I require that top. There’s a black one, too! https://www.macys.com/shop/product/ideology-metallic-cross-back-sweatshirt-created-for-macys?ID=6798352

I started exercising in October after a decade of, ahem, not. For a while, I was reaching for some of my well-loved, older tees to pair with my leggings, I’ve been ready to add some better-suited pieces to my workout wardrobe.

That sure is pretty, but no way could I ever wear it as a work out top. I would be WAY too hot. #SweatyGirl

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
