Coat Week: Pick No. One

Nov 5, 2018

Whether it’s extremely cold where you are or just a little chilly, it’s officially coat season.  This week, I’ll be sharing my loveliest coat finds under-$200.  Because a sophisticated, mid-price topper is a wardrobe must-have.

London Fog Heritage Modern Trenchcoat ($149)

If you live in a mild climate, this is a wonderful trench coat.  I didn’t think I would be into the drapey trench style, but I love it.  It feels very relaxed and modern.  It’s a nice alternative to the stiffer, cotton trench.

I also love this mauve, sandy color called Adobe.  If you need a hooded trench, they also have you covered.

Love the idea of a drapey trench?  Try this beige Greylin trench from Anthro or this Everlane drape trench coat.  Need something under-$100?  This drape trench from Express is nice. Plus-size?  Try this Badgley Mischka trench.

Oooooh I wish this was around when I finally bought a trench last year. Would have made my decision way easier. Love the color and style!

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
