Summer has officially ended. It’s time to talk about fall footwear. Because boots are the best part of fall fashion.
Hi Abra,
It’s not really fall weather in Maryland yet, but I’m thinking about boots anyway. Can you help me find a pair of casual ankle boots with a 3″ heel or less? Something brown? Cognac, taupe, whatever? I want to spend under-$100. I need to spend under-$175, non-negotiable.

Tall boots aren’t as popular as they once were, but I still like mine. Though, I do find myself wearing my ankle boots more. An ankle boot with a bit of a heel is a great piece for fall.

Can we talk about good ways way to style pants and ankle boots? Cuffed? Hemmed? I think Abra May have posted before that she cuffs her pants on the “inside,” if that makes sense? Help!

I’ve tried Abra’s recommendation to cuff on the inside and it worked, but I still struggle styling the pant and ankle boot combo. Would also love a post on this!
Agreed! I’ve held off on buying casual booties because I have no idea how to style them with pants, especially in a way that won’t make my legs look shorter/hips wider.
I wear ankle length jeans with them or flare leg jeans that are longer.
