Item of the Week: Leopard Clutches

Oct 2, 2017

Showstoppers.  That’s what I need when the cold weather hits and my wardrobe starts to go black.  I need earrings with pop.  Scarves with pizzazz.  Shoes with a kick.  And handbags with a bang.

My leopard clutch is a fall wardrobe staple. I throw it in my purse to use on coffee runs or carry it to casual dinners for a bit of chic.  You can also use it as an evening clutch when you want your LBD to feel a little edgier.  Leopard is a great basic because it pulls together dark and light pieces, soft neutrals and jewel tones.

This Large Calf Hair Pouch ($79) is a nice piece.  I like the ribbon-zipper detail and the black accent.  If you’re looking for something without the black leather, try this simple Sole Society Haircalf Clutch ($69).  For something in a simple white and black pattern, this $10 Old Navy clutch is a must.  Need more suggestions, check out the slider below.

I have this great BP cheetah (mislabeled ‘leopard’) print clutch and I love it. Slim, very well-made for the price, inexpensive ($45), and the perfect size to jazz up an outfit.

Happy Hour: Atlantic Beach Pie

There are two kinds of people in this world: People who eat cake on their birthdays and people who don’t.  And some of the weirdos in the latter category (I said what I said) eat pie as an alternative.  So if you’re a “birthday pie” eater with a late summer celebration coming up, may I […]

The Find: Bright and Striped

For the past few years, the wardrobes of many influencers have tilted toward the beige and boring.  I’m all for a good basic, but staple pieces can only take you so far.  Sometimes, you need to wear something that has a little something extra, and this sale-priced tee certainly does.
