The Edit: LOFT Fall 2017

LOFT is my go to stop for affordable pieces that add zest to my cherished basics.  They’re also known for having consistently good sales (40% off through 9/20, no code necessary).  Here are my favorite pieces from their early-fall 2017 release.

  • Notched Collar Blazer ($128)

A sleek black blazer is always a recipe for success.  This notched jacket has all the versatility of a basic with just a hint of something extra.  The wide button cuffs and double back vent give the jacket a slightly modern feel.

  • Ruffle Cuff Two-in-One Sweater ($59)

This sweater strikes me as the solution for ‘nothing to wear’ mornings.  It would be perfect with a pair of dark jeans or glamorous ivory trousers.  I adore the soft, ruffled cuffs.

  • Straight Leg Corduroy Pants ($59)

If you’re tired of jeans for casual days, corduroy pants are back in vogue and the perfect alternative.  Add a soft, flowy blouse or a slouchy sweater to complete the look.

  • Lace Sleeve Blouse ($59)

I ordered this blouse, and I cannot wait for it to arrive.  I think the lace sleeve and plum color are perfect for fall.  Add a sleek charcoal skirt for an easy work look or grab a pair of trouser jeans.

  • Sculptural Hoop Earrings ($29)

These hoop earrings bridge the gap between work-appropriate and going-out attire.  I love the sculptural, dramatic shape.  Wear these for the perfect day-to-night look.

  • Striped Flare Dress ($79)

Need a fantastic weekend dress for brunches and casual dinners?  This is it.  I love the style, the stripes, and the playful cut.  Just add black tights and cute booties for an easy, chic Sunday morning look.

  • Floral Pajama Set ($54)

I’ve fallen into some bad pajama habits — men’s boxers, fitted t-shirts.  But it’s time to change that.  This floral pajama set has a lovely look to it and is definitely more stylish than what I’ve been wearing.

Six months ago I decided to NOT BUY ANYTHING and instead literally wear the summer wardrobe to exhaustion. Where I live summer never really came and I ended up utilizing the more transitional items in my closet all the while saving those funds to update my casual wear come fall. It was you who preached “the cost per wear” value of clothing. Anyway, thank you for sending me to this sale today.
