Item of the Week: Grey High Heels

Do you know how hard it is to find a pair of grey high heels? Everyone makes black, but few designers are willing to play in the grey. So when I say these M.Gemi Sosia Heels ($298), I had to have them. They’re the perfect summer-fall transition shoe. This pair also comes in black (of course) and a stunning Prussian blue.
Feeling the waved edge? They also made that style in a flat shoe, which comes in a killer burgundy.
I have several pair of M.Gemi pumps, and they are shockingly comfortable for 3-inch-plus heels. They’re Italian made and incredibly well built. I have one pair that I wear so much I’ve had the heel caps replaced four times (but the shoes still look great).
If the M.Gemi’s are too rich for your bank account, these Sam Edelman Hazel pumps and Calvin Klein Gayle pumps. For something darker, these Nine West Tatiana heels. But I think my favorite pair are these Sam Edelman Telsa d’Orsay heels.
Need flats? Try these Shoes of Prey ankle strap flats. And, of course, the uber comfortable Dr. Scholl’s Kimber flat.

These are gorgeous! That Prussian Blue! I own a couple of M.Gemi and what a great investment they are. I like all the recommendations here.
I love those heels SO much, but they’re just not practical for my job (I work in healthcare at a hospital). I do so much walking that I prefer flats. *sigh*
I fell in love with those M. Gemi Sosia heels today too. My favorite recommendation to add for a pair of grey heels are my Cole Haan Grace Grand pumps in Stormcloud suede. They’re fabulous and came in a wide width. Really like the new site design – very chic! LK Bennett are also good for grey heels – I have a dark suede pair with chunky heels, and a paler pair of grey court shoes. Definitely worth a look!
I have the Hazels which came after searching for a pair of gray pumps for two years! They’re perfect for the price point. I wear a black sheath everyday and just rotate through heels, and I find I wear this pair more than anything else. They’ve become my new go-to neutral. So long as I tape my toes I can wear them for 10 hours (conference tested) no problem.
