  1. Anna says:

I still can’t do the low block heel. It reminds me of my dressy shoes when I was a kid, and I don’t think they’d be very flattering with my muscular calves.

    • SC says:

Same here! I can’t wear high heels so the low blocks seems like a good idea in theory, but I fear they would just be clunky on me. Kitten heels forever, I guess!

      • Belle says:

If you keep everything else sleek it could work; so I would go without the ankle strap so you get full leg length, and I would do a pointed toe.

  2. Lisa says:

I love the low block heel for when I hit the Hill. They remind me of Audrey Hepburn’s character in How to Steal a Million.

  3. G says:

belle (or anyone) — got a suggestion for the first shoe you featured (Mango low block heel w/ black tips) in a flats version? not “designer” tho — I’m find with spending a bit, but not like $500.

  4. SSC says:

I love love love the light pink pumps with the bow. The only thing that’s stopping me is knowing how quickly I would ruin light pink suede.

  5. CK says:

I really like these, especially the second one (love ankle straps). Any suggestions on similar ones that come in narrow sizes? Regular width shoes never fit me

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
