3) Has the changing face of feminism left the #girlboss behind? (Buzzfeed)

4) Need tops? A ruffle detail shell, a tie-front poplin blouse, a plus-size eyelet detail top.

5) 20 Ways to Spring Clean Your Life. (Because I’m Addicted)

6) Mango has the best blazers, this structured one and this ruffled sleeve one are great.

7) Women don’t brag about themselves enough, so how do they get ahead? (TNP)

Love the dress in #2, but I am so beyond over exposed zippers. I know they’re on-trend at the moment, but they just scream tacky to me. I’ve bit the bullet and purchased two dresses at Nordstrom Rack that were otherwise gorgeous save that one detail (and at 50% off the clearance rack price, the cost was nice enough for me to overlook it).

  2. Kelly says:

#3 is super interesting. I’ve always been a bit skeptical about the #girlboss trend, and one of my reactions to the last election was to shift my professional goals. After spending the last few months watching and planning, I’m getting excited to see what we all accomplish next.

The Mondays: July 22, 2024

The Crowdstrike/Microsoft Meltdown forced me to take a few days off this weekend. No laptop. No billable hours. So we packed Sloane up for a visit to a local llama farm, stopped by the pool, went for coffee, etc. Few things are as funny as watching a 23-month old feed carrots to a ravenous rescue […]
