J by Joa Sequin Skirt ($49) // Seraphina Amethyst Ring ($55) // Mixed Stitch Turtleneck ($89)

More relaxed than a cocktail dress, but still festive, a sequin skirt and a chunky sweater is a crowd-pleasing outfit.  Add a chic cocktail ring, and your outfit is complete.

This slit-up-to-there skirt is fun.  I also like this silver sequin skirt from BR.  You also can’t go wrong with a sequin mini-skirt, like this black and white one from Haute Hippie.  Plus-size? This patterned skirt from Eloquii is utterly and completely stylish.

As for the sweater, this turtleneck is a great choice.  If you want cashmere, Bloomingdale’s is the best.

This amethyst cocktail ring is so simple and sophisticated.  This inexpensive druzy ring from Baublebar is another great choice.  But my favorite is this modern, square ring from Marc Jacobs.

OH! This is perfect! Just the way to justify a new cashmere sweater!
