Morning Line: July 28

Jul 28, 2015

A few weeks ago, I went looking for a blue skirt that wasn’t navy.  Seems like an odd request, but I just felt like I wanted a neutral skirt that wasn’t plain, solid navy.  Here are some of the things I found.

Elie Tahari Penelope Stretch Skirt ($188)

Middle Cubicle

Classiques Entier Mia Skirt ($84, also in petite)

Limited Collection Inset Skirt ($39)

*Skirt is on sale and selling out quick.

Plus-size: I like this Talbot’s Bridget Skirt in a steel grey/blue ($99)

Eloquii had a cobalt pencil that I love–it practically works as a neutral. It’s not in stock right now, unfortunately.

  2. Joanna says:

Theory has a great blue/non-navy line too.

  3. Beth says:

I bought the full suit of the Intern pick based on a recommendation from this site and I LOVE it. Its on sale and I recommend buying the whole thing. FYI, the style of the suit dress in the Indigo does run about a half size to a size bigger (at least in the petite) than the V-back style. I bought a 4 in both but need to tailor down the Indigo one.

The Counter: The Post-Product Era

When I was in my 20s, I bought every trendy nail polish, eye color, and lip gloss.  Sure, I could only wear them on the weekends, but why not wear emerald green liner?  In my 30s, I became enamored with skincare and took every “must-have” product for a spin.  But in my 40s, my skin […]
