Belle,
I keep seeing celebs in these long (read: butt covering) button down tops. They look like tunic length Oxfords. I LOVE the look but can’t find one that isn’t like $175. That’s crazy. Or all the ones I find are sheer which isn’t good either. Can you help me find something under-$100?
I so appreciate it. Sincerely, Becca
Long button-up blouses are a great option for casual or business casual attire. Wear them with skinny jeans or over skinny pants for a cool look. As for affordable ones, you are so right. There were virtually no choices, but I did find a couple of good ones.
I love this shirt from Boden. It comes in three colors (blue, white, and pink), and has a really crisp look to it. I think it’s a great length, and has a real classic style.
Old Navy offers a shirt that’s still on the long side, though not quite as long. This Lucky Brand shirt is another great option. And this affordable boyfriend shirt from ASOS is also worth a look.
Plus-size? ASOS Curve makes a crisp, white boyfriend shirt.

Talbots and lands end both make a tunic style Oxford. I prefer the talbots one, but I think it only comes in white. The lands end one bills itself as no iron, but definitely needed ironing and the fit is narrow in shoulders for me.

Could you pull this off with leggings and riding boots (instead of actual pants)? I am clueless.

Banana Republic offers an option as well.

I know J Crew is not our favorite right now, but J Crew Factory is usually pretty on point with style and price. How about this one in white or chambray (right now it is about $30, shipped!). I saw it in person and it is quite good: https://factory.jcrew.com/womens-clothing/shirts_tops/tunics/PRDOVR~41346/41346.jsp?color_name=blue

You can also buy a regular button down in a Tall size. JC Penney has quite a few options in tall or there’s always (?) J. Crew.
