When I saw this outfit on the owner of New York’s Kirna Zabete boutique, I liked the concept, but the execution wasn’t right for my lifestyle. An a-line mini-dress, platforms, and a pricey handbag just won’t translate into my world. But I knew that with a bit of tweaking, I could create an outfit that combined blush and leopard in a work-appropriate ensemble.
I love this Ava & Aiden dress from Gilt for a desk-to-dinner look. If you prefer something sleeker, this sleeveless Antonio Melani dress is the way to go. Looking for a work appropriate a-line? Try this dress from Cremieux. Plus-size? Try this Adrianna Papell dress.
I added the Mango leopard cardigan because the grey and blush palette suits my personal style better than the tan palette in the photo. I also like this DvF cardigan in a mix of black and taupe. The leopard print brings in a bit of modern flair to an otherwise basic work look.
For the accessories, I liked the look of the Ray-Bans, so I kept them. With the color palette, a silver bracelet felt like the right choice. I also like this thin cuff from Marjorie Baer.
These textured grey pumps felt like the right choice to bring in a little bit of structure. Looking for something under-$75? I like these Nine West ankle-strap pump and these Norwood pumps.
As for the bag, I like this dome satchel in black. London Fog makes a similar tote that has great storage compartments. The bag also comes in a pale tan.
