Snake Chain Bracelet ($29) // High Waist Wrap Look Skirt ($59) // Lightweight Drawstring Jacket ($98) // Sheer Stripe Top ($59) // Double Stranded Necklace ($34) // Scallop Hem Shift ($89)
Today’s picks come from The Limited. Their suiting is usually a good, affordable choice for those in the intern price range and those who like to save their money for other things. Above are a few more choices that I like.
The jewelry I chose is simple, easy. The bracelet has a nice mix of metals to balance other pieces. I also like the longer length of the necklace. Long necklaces are a great way to jazz up dresses and simple tops.
The skirt is linen, but it’s so cute, that I’d be willing to risk a few wrinkles. I love the shape of the skirt, and the chic front-slit. Their wide waistband pencil skirt is a great basic.
I adore this relaxed, olive jacket. It’s a great length, has cool details, and is perfect for summer. They also make a similar jacket in white.
White is hot for summer. Every retailer seems to be pushing stark-white wares, and this semi-sheer striped top is one of the cutest pieces I’ve seen.
If you prefer black, this scallop-hem sheath is a great option. Depending on the length, you may be able to wear it for work. (Always tough to tell with a model how long something is on a shorter woman.) This simple sheath with a v-back is one of my favorites.
I bought my first suit from The Limited and am still wearing it today. It’s held up remarkably well after three years of regular use and I just recently bought a new skirt from the same line– the blacks match perfectly, you can’t tell that they weren’t purchased at the same time.
FYI, Ann Taylor is offering 30% off suiting. They must have read your comment about how their suiting rarely goes on sale 🙂
