Belle’s Five Favorite Jewelry Designers

Mar 4, 2015

Some women love shoes, others purses, I have a deep affinity for jewelry (mostly rings).  Here are a few of my favorite lines, from the lust-worthy to the affordable.

Connie Rose Gold and Aquamarine Ring (£2,950)

Astley Clarke is a British line with a wide variety of offerings.  I love the mix of colors on this ring.  This labradorite ring is simpler and much more affordable.  I also love this extremely delicate labradorite bracelet.  Ashley Clarke also makes a line of mid-price bracelets woven with silk cord; I love their modern love bracelet and the genie lapis bracelet.

Labyrinth Triple-Loop Rings ($3,800)

David Yurman is a former sculptor who designs pieces with the perfect mix of modern style in sparkly bauble.  The signature cable band is a unique feature, and I love that many of the pieces mix metals for versatility.  This darkened silver serpent ring is very cool.  I also like this coiled ring with a large mother-of-pearl cabochon.  If you want the classic Yurman look, choose the split-shank Albion ring.

While I love the Yurman rings, it’s the bracelets I truly adore.  For something simple, I love this Metro Cable Bracelet.  I also like this open cuff with pearl accents.  This rose gold quatrefoil bracelet is perfect for a classic or modern style.

Freida Rothman Stackable Rings ($275)

Freida Rothman is a designer I just discovered, and I love the mix of textures and metals she puts into her pieces.  These stack rings in rose gold are my favorite.  These tassel drop earrings are incredibly ornate.  The mix of metals in this chain link bracelet is really unique.  This long station necklace is a versatile piece that could boost any work look.

Northern Star Crossband Ring ($95)

Elizabeth and James is a brand that brings a lot of style for a mid-price.  This cross-band ring is my favorite piece in my jewelry box.  I actually keep a couple extra ones on hand in case I lose the original and they’re not selling them anymore.  I also own this cigar band ring that I really love.

This cuff bracelet mimics the style of the ring.  But my favorite pieces on sale right now are these mini triangle-hoop earrings and these gorgeous x-shaped ear crawlers.

Mara Saddle Ring ($58)

Gorjana is a stylish, inexpensive jewelry brand that blends bohemian styles with modern looks.  In addition to this saddle ring, I love this open, woven ring.  However, I think their best pieces right now are earrings.  These sleek mini-studs and bar ear climbers are awesome.  But my favorite pair, without question, are these unbelievably delicate Paige earrings.

I bought those Gorjana Paige earrings immediately, thank you for posting!

I’m really loving mixed metal rings lately. And I just saw a ring similar to the Northern Star Crossband ring at Charming Charlie for $15- A much safer option for me since there’s a 93% chance I’ll lose it.

  3. Kate says:

You should check out this line too – https://maujewelry.com/ She’s a friend from high school and does amazingly sculptural, yet airy pieces!

  4. Regina says:

I bought the Elizabeth and James ring this summer and have worn it daily ever since! One of my favorite pieces of jewelry.

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.

The Find: My Best Workout Shorts

For eight years, I have worn the same workout shorts. Every year, an influencer tries to sell me new shorts. I order them. I try them on. They pale in comparison to the shorts I already own. I return them.
