LOFT Herringbone Sweatshirt Dress ($79)

LOFT’s online shop is having an amazing sale: 50%-off everything + Free Shipping with code WRAPIT.  Here are my favorite picks, and don’t forget almost everything also comes in petite and tall sizes.

Dresses.  How much fun is this textured sweatshirt dress?  It’s the perfect casual holiday item to wear with tights.  This marled sleeve shift is another great casual option.  And don’t miss this easy cable sweater dress (in four neutral colors) for the weekend.

Looking for something dressier?  I also love this sleeveless black dress with a flounce skirt.  You can dress up for holiday parties (add this pearl and cord necklace) or add a jacket to for the office.  This mosaic-printed dress with long sleeves is also a good work option for relaxed days.

Tops and Jackets.  This spotted-print blouse would look amazing with a slick black trouser and some cool jewelry.  I also love this tweed-sleeve top with a pair of skinny jeans and a scarf for the weekend.  This Fair Isle sweater looks so cozy and chic in a palette of soft neutrals.

I had to have this open-cardigan in a chunky grey melange.  And this tuxedo jacket is a fun choice for holiday parties or with denim.

Skirts.  If you need winter basics, this tweed pencil skirt is a must have.  I also love this fun, flippy jacquard skirt with tights and boots for a holiday party.

Don’t Miss.  Looking for inexpensive work pieces?  Don’t miss the LOFT work shop.  Lots of pencil skirts, professional blouses, and the like.

Love to look chic on your off-time?  LOFT’s Lou & Grey line isn’t usually included in these sales, and the pieces are the perfect mix of casual and cool.  They’re perfect for creating that ultra-modern layered look.

Lastly, the retailer has some really cute, on-trend shoes to finish out the season in style.  I adore these brown, high-heeled, tall boots.

I’ve cleared my cache and confirmed I haven’t changed any of my settings to open links in the same window, tried multiple browsers, and I don’t have this problem with other websites, but I’m still having problems with links navigating me away from this page. When I have to click “back” a bunch of times to get back to this page to check out other links, it becomes more tedious and makes me more judicious about the links I actually look at. If there’s anything you could do on your end to have the links open in new tabs, I’d much appreciate it.

ugh I hate that Loft leaves items up that are no longer in stock… I get that they want us to think they’re soooo popular but it just gets my hopes up and then I’m irritated and don’t want to shop there at all.

I also feel like when they have these 50% sales, the inventory is low and the styles aren’t the best. It’s almost like they do it on purpose.

The Range: Trouser Jeans

Yesterday, we chatted about not-see-through tees. Today, I want to talk about jeans. I am so grateful wide leg denim is back in a big way. And if you’re going to the office, you need a trouser style jean to see you through the week (or just casual Friday). Here are some favorites in different […]

The Find: A Miracle T-Shirt

Remember when clothes didn’t suck? The years were the late-90s and early-aughts. Jeans stretched a little, but were mostly cotton. Cashmere was soft and heavy and durable. Poly-blends were only sold at the giant teens stores on the lower level of the mall. And t-shirts were thick, not see-through, and wore like iron. Your first […]
