Alfani A-Line Knit Skater Skirt ($49)

Love skirts?  Need skirts that won’t break the bank?  Macy’s is the answer.  This fuller Alfani skirt is a nice option.  I also like this flared pull-on skirt from DKNYC.  And don’t miss this machine-washable, knee-length a-line skirt.

Prefer a sleeker look? For basic black, try this Grace Elements pencil skirt or this Calvin Klein skirt with a very wide waistband.  This navy Jones New York skirt has a lovely color.  And if you need a skirt that is perfect for fall, try this textured burgundy skirt.

Plus-size: Try this Jones New York pleated skirt.  I also like this Kasper skirt with a flounce bottom.

Petite: Try this a-line NY Collection skirt or this purple Tahari ASL pencil.

Great skirts all around! I’m pleased with the pricing as well, and the machine washable options. Dry clean only items annoy me to no end.

i’d love to see this in a two/three ways post. I never now what to wear with a-line skirts (other than a fitted t or cardi), particularly in a way that makes them look as professional as a pencil skirt.

…btw, I bought the Halogen pencil skirt in berry on sale last month for $35. Love it!

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
