1. DvF Zoe Dress ($440) // 2. Mossimo Faux Leather Jacket ($45) // 3. Elizabeth and James Wayfarer Sunglasses ($155) // 4. House of Harlow Locket ($75) // 5. Tahari Chunky Link Bracelet ($45) // 6. Michael Kors Sutton Satchel ($328) // 7. Halogen Melissa T-Strap Pumps ($99)

Today’s look comes from Southern Curls and Pearls.  It mixes an animal-print dress with a leather jacket and tan accessories for a chic, fall look.  I especially like the t-strap pumps and the versatile satchel.  Here’s how to steal the look.

One. This leopard dress from Diane von Furstenberg has a scattered print and a short-sleeve.  The dress in the photo is a sleeveless frock from Finder Keepers with a printed panel in front and a black panel in the back.  Need something under-$100?  This Vince Camuto dress is fabulous.

Not feeling the leather?  This fitted Topshop blazer is the perfect alternative.

Plus-size?  This Gabby Skye dress is a great option.  Petite?  Try this Wallis dress with short sleeves.

Two. A leather or faux leather jacket is a great piece for fall/winter.  I found mine on eBay, but there are several other great options available.  This Mossimo jacket is a good choice if you’re looking for inexpensive, faux-leather.  I also like this Topshop faux-leather jacket for $96.

Prefer real leather?  Bluefly is a great place to look.  This T Tahari jacket is lovely, as is this Dawn Levy mixed-media jacket.

Three. Tortoise sunglasses are a good alternative to my usual aviators.  I purchased these Michael Kors sunglasses for the Jackie O look.

Four and Five. The blogger is wearing a lovely Julie Vos coin pendant (I also like this elephant one).  I chose this less-expensive locket pendant from House of Harlow for versatile.  I would probably wear my Stella and Dot Rebel pendant.

A chunky chain bracelet is a stylish staple piece.  I like this one from T Tahari.  This $17 number from Target is a great buy.

Six. This Sutton satchel is phenomenal.  The separated pockets and the simple shape make it a must-have.  Need something cheaper?  This Steve Madden satchel is super chic, and I really like this under-$30 faux-leather crossbody from Forever21.

Seven. T-straps are back, and the details on these Halogen pumps are awesome.  Need a shorter heel?  These Adrienne Vittadini pumps are the perfect compromise between height and style.

Great outfit for work! I like the pendants you found. I only have one necklace like that, however I find that it sort of bounces around very annoyingly when I walk around the office. Not sure there’s any solution, but I thought I’d mention it.

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here.  (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]
