In honor of the Sochi Olympic games, Food52 broke out the White Russian.  This mix of cream, Kahlua and vodka is an old school classic.  And don’t miss the video of Olympic skater Tara Lipinski recreating “The Big Lebowski” on ice.

Bria Cabled Sleeve Knit ($119)

I adore this sweater/top.  The cabled sleeves make it perfect for the winter-spring transition and the autumn. I’d wear it with a good jean, a cognac boot and a long necklace or a printed scarf.

Club Monaco also has some lovely sweaters that I will be watching as the sales start.  I love this long cashmere sweater with a zipper back.  I also like this printed sweater, and this sweater with an embellished sleeve.

If you’d like a lighter embellished sleeve, try this Bailey 44 top with lace sleeve or this top with a crochet sleeve.

Plus-size?  This DKNY top with a contrast sleeve is pretty.  Petite?  Try this short-sleeve lace top from Merona.

Happy Hour

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here.  (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]
