12 Days of Stocking Stuffers: iSnapx Remote

iSnapx Wireless Remote ($24)

I love cool, inexpensive holiday gifts.  So every day, for the next 12 days (even weekends), I’ll be featuring one under-$25 gift that I think is awesome.  These gifts will make great stocking stuffers, friend gifts or co-worker gifts.

The first gift is a wireless camera remote for Apple devices.  Simply download the app to your iPad or iPhone and then use the small remote to snap photos from a distance.  This is a great gift for someone who likes to use their device to take family photos, but who actually wants to be in said photos.

I looked for something similar for readers who own Droids or other smartphones and couldn’t find one. So if you know of one, leave it in the comments.

Have a recipient who loves to take pictures?  I also found this Instant Lab Photo Printer ($299) that turns smartphone photos into Polaroids, and this Locomography Film Scanner ($59) that allows those of us over the age of 25 to upload our developed film to our smartphones.  I would also look into getting a camera lens attachment for your smartphone, like this universal telescopic lens from Eco-Fused ($69).

What a great gift idea! I might get one for my dad (and for myself while I’m at it.)
On the subject of dad gifts– does anyone have tie recommendations? Where to get a nice timeless one?

    • Ashley says:

Check out Nordstrom’s gifts for men under $100. I picked up two ties last year – one for my dad and one for my brother. Both were classic in color and cut.

I just got my brother some stuff from them and it is all good quality and very affordable.

I just bought this and have the latest OS system for my iPhone5, and it won’t work with it. So then I downloaded the app on my iPad mini which isn’t updated, and it worked on there. I might return it. Depends how fast they update their app to work with the newer OS system for the iphone

A few months ago, my husband killed two of my plants. I was out of town for several weeks, and while I was away, he apparently forgot that plants need water to live. So when I returned, my snake plant and my Calamondin tree were both dead, while his braided money tree continued to thrive. […]

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
