No, that’s not a typo.  It’s an $8 skirt.  And a fairly chic, leopard-printed one at that.  The mix of neutrals in this print creates a strong foundation for bringing together an outfit.

Ann Taylor has a gorgeous animal-print jacquard skirt for sale (also comes in petites).  I also like this Robbi & Nikki skirt with side panels and animal print.

Not crazy about the white?  How about a black and charcoal print skirt from The Limited.  And for plus-size ladies, I found this Alfani leopard-print pencil skirt.

Just bought this skirt! It’s lined and made very nicely for being $8, but runs very small. I had to go up 2 sizes. The reviews on Target.com say similar things.

  2. SLG says:

I bought a couple of Target’s printed cotton pencil skirts this summer and I’ve been happy with them. They were starting to stretch out in the butt by the end of the summer, but hey, they were around 16 bucks each (and this one is only $8!).

  3. Elizabeth says:

I bought one as well, but ordered my regular size based on how other Target skirts fit.

  4. Erin says:

bought the skirt! love it. I’m a zero at jCrew (fake zero, but zero nonetheless) and I bought this skirt in a 4. It just barely fits…

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.
