State of the Blog: Upgrade Time

Feb 1, 2013

I’ve been trying to find time to perform some routine site maintanence, and I can wait no longer.  So there will be no posts today, and maybe none on Monday (though I hope the site will be back up Monday.).  These upgrades should allow us to incorporate some helpful features like being able to responde directly to comments, yay!

What?  These are the things that excite bloggers.  And glitter.  Bloggers are like moths to a flame when it comes to glitter.

I would also like to take this opportunity to say Happy Birthday to my Father who is probably really excited to be turning 58 today.  What did I buy him?  This book which celebrates his love for the human race…and sarcasm.  What can I say?  It’s in the DNA.

I am a blind reader and love the layout of your blog. The way you number your descriptions makes it easy for me to know which item you are describing. Please don't change the format too much because I am a devoted reader and really love all of your suggestions. It makes my life so easy to go to your site, find great suggestions, and order them online!

The Find: A Versatile Sweater Jacket

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.
