10th Commandment: June 29

Afternoon Excursion Bag (Modcloth, $60)

A bit of a modified 10th Commandment today.  Partially because I spent so much time working on yesterday’s packing posts that I put off today’s posts until last night.  Given all the was going on yesterday, this was a grave miscalculation on my part.  But you deserve something to perk up your morning.

I’ve had a number of queries about overnight bags, so when I spotted this duffle, I thought it would make a good suggestion.  Not too big, not too small, a Goldilocks bag that’s perfect for a night away from home.  Plus, it has a stylish, low-maintanence look that I really like.

Great find. I love bags that look more expensive than they actually are!

I love that this bag is also a bit masculine…always a bonus when travelling with a significant other. Don't get me wrong, I love to see a guy schlepping a huge, pink Vera Bradley for his lady but I feel like this bag is just so much nicer at a great price point! By the way – fantastic posts yesterday Belle! I'm sure they took a lot of time and it's much appreciated 🙂

Love the bag, also liking the R and Em one in cream on the shopstyle link.

Love this so much I just bought it for an upcoming trip. Thanks Belle!

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
