Alice + Olivia Bree Tie Dyed Dress (Net-a-Porter, $450)
This dress reminds me of a van Gogh painting. So even though I’ve never embraced tie-dye, I’m willing to make an exception in this case. And while some of you may be concerned that the one shoulder trend is dying, I see no indications of that. Several Resort 2012 collections had one shoulder dresses, and as long as it’s the rights style for you in a gorgeous fabric, you’ll be able to wear it for years to come.
This weekend, my co-worker and I went to New York for a little big city relaxation. On our first night, we decided to swing by the Crosby Street Hotel for some light appetizers and a Moscow Mule. And it was delicious, definitely the kind of cocktail that quickly becomes addictive. Luckily, it’s very easy to make at home.
The Moscow Mule
Ingredients
1 ounce vodka
1 tsp. sugar syrup
Fresh lime juice
1/2 cup ginger beer
1 sprig fresh mint
1 slice of lime
The recipe asks you to use a copper mug. but who has one of those lying around? So a highball will work just fine.
Pour vodka over ice. Add sugar syrup and lime juice. Top with ginger beer and stir. Garnish with mint sprig and lime slice.
Incredible dress. I hate all things tie-dye, but it's easy to make an acception for this. Impeccably done, and it really looks more like a watercolor. Love.
Oh, and the drink sounds fab, too!
This is one of my all time favorite drinks! Love the dress too.
