Treasures Found on Etsy

Jan 24, 2011

When it comes to jewelry, I have but one true love: rings.  I can live without necklaces, bracelets or earrings, but I cannot live without rings.  I would wear one on every finger if I thought that I could get away with it.  So when I find a new designer who makes rings that are pretty, sparkly and a little bit more interesting than what I’ve already seen for sale, I’m interested.

Strike that.  I become obsessed.  Thus, I’ve been cyber-stalking the Etsy shop of OneGarnetGirl for weeks.  And given the sheer awesomeness of her pieces, it’s not difficult to see why.

Rapunzel Ring in Crimson Garnet ($218)

Ballerina Ring with Morganite and Gold ($458)

Mystic Topaz Solitaire ($72)

Champagne Diamond and 14k Gold ($340)

Bonfire Stacking Set ($228)

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
