Gift Guide: For the Fashionista Under $250

Dec 7, 2010

I love giving gifts, but the one gift that I never give another woman is clothing.  So if clothes are off the table, what for I buy for the fashionistas on my Christmas list?  Accessories.  After all, having great accessories is the key to making a good outfit a stunning outfit.

Today, CHS is featuring three fashionista gift guides loaded with awesome accessories.  Each gift guide reflects a different price point: under $250, under $150 and under $50.  But no matter the retail price, every gift is fabulous!

1.  Marc by Marc Jacobs Ozzie Crossbody (Saks, $228)

What’s great about this bag is that you can carry it to a cocktail event or pair it with jeans and layers for a casual weekend look.  And I think that the neutral mushroom color mixed with the gold chain really makes a statement.

2.  DvF Lace and Leather Gloves (Matches, $175)

I love opera length gloves, but I’d gladly trade mine in for these.  Wear them with your basic black winter coat to give your cold weather style quotient a boost.

3.  McQueen Rose and Silk Thorns Scarf (Harvey Nichols, $235)

If you have an Alexander McQueen fan on you holiday list, a scarf is a great way to give them a designer piece at a fraction of the price.  And this scarf, with its bright colors, is definitely going to give your wardrobe a pick me up.

4.  Lee Angel Glass and Pearl Bracelet ($155)

I saved this bracelet for last because it is my favorite piece of the day.  It mixes paper chain black metal with sparkly crystals and delicate pearls to create a piece that is truly unique.  All the wow of expensive jewelry for a lot less coin.

Another month has come and gone, and between a busy work schedule, illness and the search for new childcare, I almost forgot to ask for questions for the AMA.  Luckily, I remembered late last night.  So here we go. Gift Guide 2023: Stocking Stuffers, Pt. 1

I love stocking stuffers.  They are the best part of Christmas.  There’s just nothing quite like an affordable gift that’s funny or useful or chic (or maybe all three).  So here is Part One of my stocking stuffer gift guides, where nothing costs more than $30.
