While the $250 gifts were tres fabulous, most parents, boyfriends, and relatives like to keep the gift price under two bills. Luckily, you can accessories that are in the mid-price range but have just as much style as their more expensive brethren. Enjoy!
1. Ray-Ban Classic Aviators (Net-a-Porter, $139)
Aviators are the perfect sunnies to give as a gift because they look great on everyone. And I mean everyone. If she already has aviators, try Wayfarers in tortoise shell.
2. BCBG Feather Print Scarf ($98)
When buying a scarf as a gift, choose either a solid or a printed scarf in neutral colors. I love this scarf so much that I may have to stop myself from defrosting my credit card to buy it. It would go with everything…where’s the hair dryer?
3. Kenneth Jay Lane Amethyst Cocktail Ring (Pret-a-Beaute, $96)
The most interesting piece of jewelry you will ever own is a statement ring. It doesn’t have to match the outfit, it draws attention to your manicure, and it looks more expensive than it is. Be bold, buy a ring.
4. Elliott Luca Sintra Tote (Piperlime, $148)
This tote is the perfect mix of structured chic and slouchy casual. This bag is also the perfect size for the working woman, it’ll hold all of your essentials and still leave room for a post-work trip to CVS. And unlike a lot of the medium sized totes you see for sale, this one has interesting details (hardware, braided tassles) that give it a little something extra.
lovely collection.
question: how do you wear scarves? i'm never quite sure how to pull them into a business ensemble.
With a one button jacket, I tuck them into my skirt and fasten the jacket over them. With sweaters and two-button blazers, I wrap them three or four times to create a large collar. And with dresses, either way.
i love the color of the Elliot Luca tote! great find.
I've been keeping an eye out for the perfect tote, and I just bought the Elliot Luca. Merry Christmas to me! 🙂
