I’m deeply disturbed by the fact that someone would charge $5,600 for an enamel carrot ring. But I am horrified by the fact that so many delusionally wealthy people wanted to own Bugs Bunny’s engagement ring, that the ring sold out in one day.
Who are these people? And what makes them think that this ring is so special?

For eight years, I have worn the same workout shorts. Every year, an influencer tries to sell me new shorts. I order them. I try them on. They pale in comparison to the shorts I already own. I return them.
Have a big day ahead? Major hearing? Big trial? The presentation of your life? Gonna be at a conference with that ex? Whatever it happens to be, these are the fashion weapons that get me to the confidence level that I need to be at.

Without question, the most worn item in my wardrobe is a black-and-white striped tee. I wear it in winter under sweaters, in spring with white jeans, in summer with black shorts. I’ve been wearing the same one for years (it’s the best). But they don’t make it anymore. So here are some options for replacement.

I love the tongue in cheek-iness of this ring and would completely buy it. But NOT for that ridiculous price!!
I'd like to meet one of those people so I could either: laugh at their matching earrings and broach or if they've left those at home, slap some sense into them. I could see those being somewhat of a gimmicky thing to where, say around Easter… but for a few bucks, not $5600…
While it's disturbing that it sold out, it's a lot easier to sell out of 3 rings than 300. Maybe Betsy Johnson bought one for herself and one for for each of the guys from Heatherette.
Eek! That is terrifying. I don't know who would buy that but luckily they are too rich for me ever to meet them and see this in person.
