In the fashion world, multi-thousand dollar purses have become the norm. Chanel. Louis Vuitton. Dior. YSL. Loewe. Khaite. The Row. So what happens when you find a chic, modern shoulder bag that costs under-$100?
I love the structural style of this JW Pei Harlee Bag. The small buckle detail on the strap and the asymmetrical style are just fabulous. It comes in nine colors and patterns from this gorgeous wine hue to a shiny silver. It’s also just slightly larger than a clutch, so it can be used as an evening bag or a day bag.

For a medium size work tote, this JW Pei Hana Faux Sueded Tote is a good size. Big enough to hold an iPad/Kindle, it makes a nice weekday bag. The folded, origami sides are a great detail. It comes in four colors, has a detachable strap, and a magnetic snap closure.
Have you find an affordable or mid-price bag that you love the look of even if it’s not a designer purse?

I can’t believe I’m typing this, but the Vera Bradley Outlet Large North South Tote has been nicknamed the “Magic Bag” in my life. I’m not crazy about the crossbody strap material, but that is minor considering all it can hold and the organization of the bag – laptop/tablet zipper pocket, phone pocket, inside zipper pocket, and tons of space. The only way to make this bag perfect is if it had a luggage sleeve. The product photos don’t do it justice.

* I forgot to mention that there is NO LOGO. It’s a just a nice, faux leather bag that is a steal at the current sale price of $66.
There are some good tutorials on removing small, gold embossed logos from leather if you’d like to go no logo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iU4SRJ4OA7M
