The Find: The Mask Chain

Jan 27, 2021

My mask comes off when I’m in my office, but must be on for the bulk of my day.  This necessitates a lot of taking it on and off.  So I need it at the ready, and I don’t want to lay it on the desktop or put it in my purse where it will just get dirtier.  Enter the mask chain.

This paperclip chain from LOFT is my very favorite.  The oversized links and simple style make it a chic option.  I use mine almost every day, and it looks more like a great necklace than an eyeglass chain.

Other options from LOFT include this pearl-accented chain.  Amazon also has an expansive selection of mask chains.  This simple black resin one is the backup chain that I keep at my desk.

If you haven’t tried a mask chain yet, they’re wonderful.  Mine makes life so much easier when I need to keep my mask handy at all time.

I got mask chains from Etsy for all my coworkers at Christmas. There are so many options and they are a blessing when I have to mask on/mask off just to walk to the printer. I recommend filtering for shops in USA to avoid a very long shipping wait.

I placed a Command hook next to my desk and it’s been the perfect place to hang my mask!

My friend makes these mask chains! And has tons of different options at amazing prices. Check out her shop!

I got a version of the paperclip chain on Amazon for $10 thanks to you posting this idea earlier. Am likewise trying to be better about taking it off and on at work. It’s been really helpful! Had no idea it was a thing until you posted it!

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
