Thank you for your patience while I dealt with the most annoying health issue of my life. Vertigo is no joke. But after multiple weeks of rehabbing this neck injury, it seems to have resolved.
This weekend, I felt great and took Sloane on a whirlwind trip to Tacoma to visit the Zoo and the Aquarium. Somehow I ended up peddling a “surrey with a fringe on top” down a beach trail and now I can’t get the song out of my head. But she had a wonderful time and has decided she wants to move to the ocean shore. Same, girlfriend, same.
This week, I wanted to take about basics again, because so many of us are still lacking foundation pieces, and I wanted to start by discussing t-shirts that I own that are absolutely worth the money. Because every woman needs a good white tee. Or five.
I see this Porter Tee from perfectwhitetee on all the Cool Moms. You can find it both on the pwt website and on Evereve. I most often see it worn with sleek cargo pants or wide leg linen pants. Both looks are extremely cool, and the perfect summer drop off or casual weekend outfit.
Ashley Spivey loves this Sold Out NYC t-shirt. Around the 30th time she promoted, I decided to plonk down $90 for a t-shirt. (I know, I know.) But I decided I needed one nice t-shirt to keep in the closet (not in the dresser) to wear under blazers and with trousers. Well, the t-shirt is everything she said it would be. I don’t know if I will buy a second one, but I am babying the first one. This peanut gets washed in a lingerie bag with delicate soap.
A friend loved this t-shirt so much that she bought their linen tee to wear over her swimsuit at the pool, and every time she wears it, people ask her where it’s from. She told me that she can’t wear it unless she wants to talk to people.
This COS t-shirt is a great piece because it’s cut to be worn alone and still look chic. I own it in black, and I wear it with wide leg trousers when I don’t want to wear a blouse. To keep it looking its blackest, I use this detergent.
