The article about kids clothes spoke to my soul. Just spent my weekend going through kids clothes and brought a bag full of things into my legal assistant today for her daughter. I did finally request this year that my husband help go through my son’s too-small-summer-clothes. He’s seven. It is a never ending struggle.
The piece on the labor of kids’ clothes was the truest thing I’ve read in a while. Perfectly captured!
Agree! At least once, I took a day off work to try to get a handle on my kids’ clothes. So glad to be past that, although I still have some of my sons’ clothes in bins and baskets. Why is it so hard to let go of old clothes?
Chiming in to say that I had no idea how much time I would spend on kid’s clothes.
My son is only two, and there’s only one of him, but going through his clothing is one of my favorite mom tasks. Especially when he was tiny and I was in the thick of PPD, sorting through his drawers was something I could do with him on the floor next to me and it was a task I could accomplish. I suspect I may feel differently as he gets older and more opinionated on pieces coming or going, but for now, give me a drawer to sort and a weird sense of accomplishment.
Looks like that Uni serum is going to be 50% off during the Ulta 21 days of beauty event on 3/20
