Influencers often talk lovingly about Levi’s. I’ve tried many styles of the classic denim brand, but they never fit me quite right. As such, the relaxed, perfectly casual, light denim look that Levis gives has eluded me. Until now.

Meet your new, favorite summer jean.
When I spotted these Nordstrom brand jeans, they looked so promising. Wide leg, without being too wide. Cropped, without being high waders. That perfectly soft, washed out denim color. Could they be as perfect in person?
Yes. Yes, they are.
I have worn them too much since I bought them. They are so comfortable and relaxed. And just a little fabric softener makes them so soft. (I have to use this one due to skin issues.)
I love them. You will too. I promise.

Pear shape here – the 300s line of Levi’s has been *perfect* for me for years. I don’t know about the wide cut styles, though.
Thank you!!!! As a fellow pear, this is the information the internet has not been able to answer for me. Off to peruse the 300 styles….
Pear with short legsā¦NO wide legs for me!
Long time listener, first time caller. I bought these after reading this post because, on the brink of 50, I wanted some on-trend summer jeans. They fit perfectly — no gaps, no pinches, etc. But I don’t think they flatter me (small pear, long torso, short legs) and am at a total loss how to style them. Are they too high rise? Too light? Too wide? Am I too old? Normally, I would put them right back in the bag and return them, but I really want them to work. Suggestions?
Well, tell me what you’ve tried. I wear them with shirts that I don’t need to tuck, because tucked, I think they over emphasize my long torso. I like them with sneakers and light sandals.
Is it possible it might just take a while to get used to a new style? I was on the fence about skinnies at first, and it just took me a while to adjust.
I have tried it with a chunky, slightly cropped polo sweater with a little front tuck. That was OK. I agree on the light shoes. I think it will just take time for me to get used to this on me. Thanks!
