The Find: A Casual Friday Dress

If you had told me 15 years ago, when I was wedging myself into a pair of Spanx every day before work, that I would one day buy clothing from the brand, I’d have called you crazy. But here I am — two careers, one baby, and thirty pounds later — buying my work pants, jeans, shorts, and t-shirts from the inventor of shapewear. And when you see this dress, you will be too.

This AirEssentials Tie Waist Midi Dress is the perfect thing for casual Friday, vacations, brunch, weekend errands — all you have to do is change the shoes. It comes in three colors — taupe, black, and cherry red. I posted it in the red because it shows the details better than the black, but if you buy the easy neutral, no one will fault you.

Sizing on this runs XS to XL at Nordstrom. Plus-sizes can be found on the Spanx website. This dress in the <$150 price point will sell out. I posted it to Instagram yesterday and sold three dozen. Do not hesitate if you want this one.
