A few months ago, I signed up for Rent the Runway. One of my favorite things about the service is that, when I really love a piece, I can buy it at a deep discount. Often the pieces are gently used or barely worn at all. Also, unlike when I buy on resale sites like Poshmark, there’s no haggling, I can buy discounted designer pieces without the bidding war.
Also, before we get started items $95+ are 40% with code LOVESTYLE. Here are a few of the pieces I bought this year.

I bought this Derek Lam striped linen dress for summer. It looks great for casual work days (though it did need a $2 snap to make sure it stayed closed). And it’s very light on hot days.

When I received this Oversized Asymmetric Cardigan, it was everything I wanted — slouchy, warm, cool. I couldn’t believe it was just $80. It’s my best “desk cardigan.”

Without a doubt, this Shoshanna dress was my favorite thing I rented in 2024. I loved the color. I loved how well it fit (size up). I loved how cute it looked dressed up with high heels or easy it was to wear with a flat sandal. It was the greatest vacation dress.

THanks for sharing!! I have only used RTR (repeatedly) for special events gowns. I didn’t know they had “regular” clothing offerings.
I know that the things missing in my closet are updated jeans and work pants that fit, but gosh, one more oversized cozy cardigan is tempting…
I love that sweater – but I don’t think the link works. I’d love to buy.
