I bought this sweatshirt on a whim. It made no sense to spend $168 on a zip up. But when it arrived, I had no regrets.
First off, this Varley Roxbury Zip Up is so unbelievably soft. It’s like a hug, every time you wear it. Second, the material is so thick and luxurious. Third, it goes with everything. Just be advised it runs a bit big.
I wear it over a light cashmere sweater. I wear it with joggers. I keep it at my desk to stay warm. On trips, I toss it over pajamas instead of wearing a robe. I never leave home without it.
Everything from Varley that I’ve purchased has been amazing. Some of my favorite casual pieces. The best ass-shaping leggings I’ve ever owned. But this zip-up takes the cake. Some friends will argue that the Freya sweatshirt is the clear winner, but I disagree. I am team Roxbury all the way.
Also, if you need a Mom gift, a MIL gift, or a sister gift, Varley is it. I would be happy to find any of their pieces under my tree.

Do you dry it flat or toss it in dryer? I returned it when I saw the care instructions. :/
Varley sweatshirts are SO GOOD. I have 3. they are perfect for long flights and travel days.
Looks like it only comes in that light gray color? I’d buy in another color!
It’s more like a light oatmeal. I thought it would get impossibly dirty, but I’ve spilled coffee and jam on it and they’ve come right out in the wash.
