Well, it’s that time of year again. My closet is not ready for hastily planned wine nights, holiday parties, and family dinners. So to give myself a bit of inspiration, I put together a handful of outfits that are easy to recreate, each with a different statement piece. Let’s get to it.
One // Varley Gabriella Sweatshirt // Varley High Rise Legging // Varley Cable Jacket // New Balance 327s // CALPAK Expandable Tote // Mejuri Gold Huggie Hoops //
Need an outfit for the plane, for a quick coffee with friends, for holiday shopping, this is it. The fall’s hottest color, chocolate brown, blends seamlessly with the cable knit jacket. Add in a soft-hued sneaker that’s got a cool vintage vibe and you have the It Girl Mom look that never fails. Put your hair in a teased ponytail or high ballerina bun, grab a simple hoop earring and get on with your day.
Not sure you want to wear makeup? Put on a color corrector and a soft, glossy lip color (seriously, sublime) and you’re good to go.
Two // J.Crew 1996 High Rise Jeans // Madewell Puff Sleeve Sweater // Birdies Gold Loafers // Missoma Axiom Bracelet // Quay Tortoise Aviators // Suede Tote Bag //
This outfit would make a great casual Friday look or a simple dinner with friends outfit. The puff sleeve sweater is a unique, modern look. It pairs well with the high-rise, relaxed jean. (I own these, and the denim is buttery soft.) And finish it off with the very comfortable, totally wearable burnished gold loafers from Birdie’s.
For the bag, I love this suede bag from Amazon. Still a little spendy at $150, but so may women have stopped me to ask if it’s the Khaite tote. Want a suede bag for less? This slouchy one from Gap is amazing and under-$75.
Three // Vince Funnel Neck Sweater // J.Crew Satin Pants // Zara Embroidered Flats // Mango Tote Bag // Nadri Cluster Earrings //
This outfit is relaxed elegance. It’s the kind of outfit you throw on for spontaneous cocktails that you agree to because it’s the holidays, even though you have no interest in being out of the house after 8:00PM. Pair the pajama-like pants with a relaxed, sumptuously soft sweater, add a cool bag and a chic embroidered flat, and you’re ready to go.
For the hair, loose waves that look perfectly undone. And don’t forget the perfect blue meets burgundy nails.

What a terrific line-up! you have a great eye to put these together. How I wish you could peek into my closet and help me cobble together something decent to wear this thanksgiving!
I love this – especially the last outfit. Unfortunately when I click on the Vince sweater, I’m taken to the gap slouchy bag. Could you please fix the link? I’d like you to get credit if I purchase!
